Sven Poot, Country Manager, Spain

Sven Poot is the Country Manager for Spain at BigMile. Since joining BigMile in 2020, Sven has been helping educate the transport and logistics sector on carbon accounting and grow BigMile’s customer base. 

Prior to this, Sven worked in procurement at Boskalis, and as a Business Intelligence Consultant at supply chain and logistics company Districon. 

Originally based at BigMile’s head office in Maarsen, Sven relocated to Valencia in August 2025 where he is leading BigMile’s expansion into the Spanish and Portuguese market.

Sven holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
