BigMile believes consistent emissions data helps shippers, carriers and logistics service providers turn carbon accounting into practical reporting and reduction decisions. A shared, transparent data foundation makes it easier to understand assumptions, compare outcomes and identify where better primary information is needed.

In BigMile’s view, emissions information becomes most useful when it connects with existing transport processes. That can mean making data available to reporting teams, sustainability specialists and operational decision-makers without creating a separate information workflow. The objective is not only to calculate a footprint, but to make the underlying information usable and explainable.

BigMile is building toward broader decision support that can connect emissions information with operational efficiency and, over time, cost perspectives. Cost functionality is still in development and is not currently live. This is BigMile’s own product direction and is not a statement, finding or endorsement by Gartner.
